    MX5400/MX6000 Engine Block Heater

Thank you. I'll get battery maintainers on them and let them cycle for longer.

    MX5400/MX6000 Engine Block Heater

That's the one I thought would work, but the parts tech told me that it's not recommended for the MX5400/6000 series tractor. Can that be right?

    MX5400/MX6000 Engine Block Heater

I was hoping to install an engine block heater on my MX6000 that is used for moving firewood and snowplowing. We've had a few nights when the morning temps are below freezing and the tractor started HARD on those mornings. My old L3560 had an engine block heater that made it a little easier to...

    Water tank trailer build

I needed a portable water trailer for landscaping on our farm and added a boomless nozzle to spray the road down when it gets dusty. I had an old air compressor trailer around and mounted a sealer tank that someone gave me. I have to use a generator (220V) to power a submersible well pump in...

    Snow Pusher Build

I started welding the SSQA plate to the plow blade today. I used some old 1/4 plate and the plasma to cut out 4 pieces to tie them together. I took your advice and kept the FEL up about 4 inches and leveled it with the ground.

    Wheel Adapters for Tractors

It turned out the I messed up on the pricing. They are $142.50 each with a 20% discount so the price was about $230 for the set. I installed them today without any issues.

    Snow Pusher Build

I am ready to weld on a QA plate to the plow blade but was hoping to get some suggestions on angle and attachment points. I think the best thing is to weld the plate on first then add the sides. Any comments (photos of your snow pushers) would be greatly welcomed.

    Wheel Adapters for Tractors

I needed to order a set of wheel adapters for my Kubota L3800 since the tire chains I ordered don't fit with the current space allowance between the tire and the fender. I see they are on sale (Black Friday sale ) from MotorSport-tech for $142.50 (2 inch). Is that a good price...

    Agri Metal Leaf Blower Conversion

I ended up finding a Browning 3TB124 sheave ( 3 groove 12.75" diameter) at a local place for $20 with the 1-1/4" bushing already in it. I ordered a 3TB34 sheave from Amazon for the fan assembly ($75 with the correct bushing). I think I did the calculations right to get the fan rpm to the...

    Agri Metal Leaf Blower Conversion

I straightened out some of the metal and reinforced some of the welds. I added some reinforcement to the bottom of the frame and reassembled it for fit-up. I'm waiting for the replacement bearings then I can put it back together and work on the pulley setup. I welded on the mounts for the...

    Agri Metal Leaf Blower Conversion

I used a site on the internet to calculate pulley size and rpm. I think the max speed is 2100 so the calculations come just under that. I welcome any comments.

    Agri Metal Leaf Blower Conversion

I'll try that. The other side took a little time but I finally got it loosened up. I plan on replacing both bearings during the reassembly. Is there a good place to buy them?

    Agri Metal Leaf Blower Conversion

I am having a lot of trouble getting the front bearing off the fan assembly. I tried PB blaster. Any ideas?

I started on the conversion from a front mounted to a rear PTO powered blower. Here's a few pictures :
