I was able to get the fitting out without much trouble. And the even better news is that the threads are fine. Yay! Now I just need to take a trip to the local Kubota dealer to get a new fitting. Thanks for getting back to me again! I appreciate the help!

Hi, Thanks for the response. I have already disconnected the compression nut. My concern about just trying to remove the fitting as it is, is it's now cross-threaded. Do you think it would be best to try and tap it back straight with a hammer, or just try and turn it out as is?? Not sure which...
