    O ring found, off BX24 ?

Today I found what appears to be a broken o-ring on a path that I drive my tractor down on the way to my dock. Nothing else mechanical goes down it. If unbroken the o-ring would be approx 4.25" in diameter and the rubber is .095" thick. Does anyone know if this sounds like a part off a BX24? I...

    Grading  BX24 Grading

Used my Woods RB60 today for the first time to actually do some grading on my road. Previously I just used it facing backwards to move a little snow. I cannot believe how well the BX24/RB60 combo worked in a real grading operation. It dug into fairly hard pack and smoothed over potholes with no...

    Rops lights --- again

OK, I've read most of the old threads on this but can't find what I read a long time ago that would have answered this. I know there are a pair of wires under the left rear that are taped apparently for the BX work light. My question in 2 parts is 1. are they really for the work light and 2. are...

? on Woods RB60 for BX

I'm ready to purchase a RB 60 rear blade for my BX24. My question is will the BX lift it high enough so I can put it in the first 15 degree tilt position to crown my road slightly. I read in another thread the BX won't lift it high enough to tilt but the poster may have been talking about a more...

    BX24 How much weight

Since I ordered a dolly for my BH and plan on taking it off for the first time I'm wondering how much weight I need on the rear to offset a load of heavy snow in my bucket. I do have the rears filled with rimguard and they are heavy. Think this might be enough? I also use chains on the rear...

    First time BH use

After 60 hours mostly moving snow and stone I finally got to use the BH for more than just removing rocks and small stumps. A neighbor needed a 20'L x 3'D trench to extend his septic vent. This was my first time digging in dirt and it does take some practice. CFO won't let me dig practice holes...

    BX24 Wheel Spacers -- Caution?

I installed my new Bro-Tek wheel spacers today on my BX24. They seem to make the machine MUCH more stable as they widen the stance about 4 1/2" and are high quality and very easy to install. Why the caution? Well if you have loaded tires and haven't taken them off before then beware they are...

    3PH stupid question

I have a new BX 24 which will never see a MMM. My question is when I take off the BH and attach an implement (when I buy one) to the 3PH do the MMM arms lower when I lower the 3PH York Rake or whatever? I assume they do not but can't find anything about it in the manual.

    Light for ROPS

I've read the threads on putting lights on the ROPS but haven't heard this answered. According to my BX24 manual there is already a fuse position (20A) for the working light (rear work light I presume). Anyone know if this is pre-wired and where the connection is? It's fuse #4, bottom on left side.

    Handi hitch

There's an outfit that sells a 3 point 'handi-hitch' that has 2 trailer balls plus a clevis in the middle. Not cheap but not too bad. My question is they have 2 models, one for a Cat 1 3-point (26" wide) and one for a Cat 1N meaning narrow (20" wide) which they say is for BX series. If I want...

    Is this normal

Brand new owner of new BX24. I noticed when I left the lock pin out of the BH last night it tilted back about 3 to 4 " by this am. Is that just normal or should I be concerned about something. Wasn't much of a change in temp overnight.

    New BX24 owner

Hi all, After lurking around for awhile I finally broke down and bought a new BX24. Just BH, loaded tires and FEL w/hook now but I do have a DR grader I used with my Husky that I will pull now with the BX. My road is about 1/4 mile long. I already ordered skid plates and thumb from Bro-Tek...
