I need to replace the outer CV boot on on my 620i Gator. I have the axle shaft out but cannot get the inner CV joint separated from the axle shaft. The technical manual shows it held in place by a snap ring, however on my axle there is a retaining ring which I cannot remove. Suggestions...

After sitting inside for several months I have to manually release the clutch to engage it. When I depress it it stays down and I have to pull it back manually. Any suggestions as to the problem. The tractor only has 400 hours on it as the previous owner became disabled. Thanks, Bob Smits
