I just read about some friction disks on the linkage shaft? Anything think true to that?

I tried the adjustment rod with no luck at all.

Looking for some help. My three point lifts too high and slows motor down when it gets to the top, seems to creep down too. I tried the adjustment rod with no change what so ever, What could be wrong? TIA Dan
