Excellent piece of advice poster. Couldn't have said it any better myself. If there is one piece of advice I would give to the up and comers in this generation it would be to slow down and delay your decision making. Can't tell you how many times doing that brought clarity to me about situations...
The $300 cash discount is a joke. They purposely make it so minuscule that you have to take the financing. Recognize this for what it is which is a finance funnel.
I have been following the CUT market for 5 years and the conclusion I reached is prices will not come down as long as the industry can continue to convince the consumer to accept it's free financing in exchange for overpaying for the equipment.
I didn't have a chance to mention it this morning but the tractor had a birthday today. It is 45 years old today. It also has around 2500 hours on it. The exact known hours are not known as I am the 4th owner but it is somewhere around there.
