Here’s what I’m seeing. I’m thinking about putting it down over a crushed concrete base if I can find a source.

Anyone know what type of gravel the state (Tx in my case) uses for asphalt roads. I see large piles all the time on the side of the road. Usually dark grey and almost black sometimes. I assume they use it to mix for road building. Looks 1” or less and very uniform size.

Little morning therapy Good to know the thorns burn quickly and completely.

Hard to believe we baled hay here when I was a kid. There was one large Honey Locust (huge thorns) tree at the back of the property. Fast forward 30 years and 80%+ of the small trees in the foreground are Honey Locust. Hired a forestry mulcher for 8 hrs to get rid of most of them. You can...

Worked out fine loading and unloading. No clearance issues. I do wonder if a backhoe would drag. Plan to add that later.

Will these work for a subcompact? Ultra-Tow 5000lb (2500lb/ramp) aluminum ramps from Northern Tool. I asked the dealer about ramps and he just said don’t get the aluminum ones. Tractor is 2900 with FEL, MMM, and BH. Any reason they wouldn’t work?

Taking delivery on a new tractor soon. Looking forward to the learning curve.
