    Aera-vator

Also… appears there’s no rear roller on this one. Deal breaker?

    Aera-vator

Thanks for this. No seed box on the used one I found and was thinking exactly what you described for overseeding. The used one I’m considering is pretty cheap, I think, so might just give it a go. Thinking about this for re/over seeding in areas of compacted soil. It sounds as if, unless really...

    Aera-vator

Anyone have experience with an aera-vator, made by 1st products ? Saw a used one for sale and was interested for general lawn aerating as well as possible overseeding, but this is the first I’ve ever seen one. Would be used in multiple soil types including clay and sandy….

    TMG chipper

That’s kinda what I was wondering… the actual utility of the smaller self feeds. Thanks.

    TMG chipper

I was thinking you might have yourself a woodmaxx. On the Woodmaxx site it says the wm-8h is made “overseas”. I presume china, and others on here have noted that woodmaxx are made in china. The closer I looked, the more similar the seemed. Doesn’t really matter either way, as long as it’s been...

Looks pretty darn similar to woodmaxx wm-8m on toolots site.

Thanks. This is just the kind of feedback I was looking for.

    TMG chipper

Thanks. It seems there’s a lot of manual feed out there, so they can’t be entirely ineffective. I’ve never used a manual infeed, but more people than not seem to tell me to avoid them. People are definitely fans of their power infeed models and it seems that new prices for manual and power...

    TMG chipper

Thanks! Hadn’t run across victory, but will check it out. Have to admit, I don’t need a chipper so badly that I’ve been actively shopping, but whenever I stumble across one, I get to thinking.

    TMG chipper

All good points. Somewhat familiar with the woodmaxx and would certainly prefer one with power infeed. Never used the “chuck and duck” models, so wasn’t sure how much disadvantage they really are. I see a lot of them out there, so figured maybe worth a shot. Only experience is with larger, self...

    TMG chipper

Anyone have experience with TMG Chippers? I’ve been considering a chipper for some time but haven’t pulled the trigger because it would likely get infrequent use. It’s a “would be nice to have” but not a “need”. There are certainly better chippers out there, but given my anticipated use, I don’t...

    LX3310 4 cylinder engine

I have an lx3310 ROPS for about 1.5 years and have overall been very happy with it for my needs. As far as noise and “smoothness”, yes there is significant hydro whine, I think more than many similar models. I don’t mind it/hear it so much any more. The lx engine does seem “smoother” running...

    Suggest a grass collection system?

I looked into this 4 or 5 years ago. Seemed they were all pricey. One I didn’t see mentioned here was from Protero. I can’t speak to the virtues of one vs the next as I decided to stick with my collection system on my zero turn.

Thanks. What do you run it on? What width, and how do you find the weight?
