    Brush Hog mods

Very valid concern! I was shredding under a pecan tree. A nut went forward hit the front tire and came back right into my forehead. Almost knocked me out. Hurt my back from my head fling backwards. I now have front chains.

    Moving 26' 5th wheel camper with a loader/backhoe

Flat ground should be ok but think about the trailer pushing the FL left or right on a hill or turning with momentum. The weight of the trailer could be more side force than the tractor can handle.

Excavator boom swings and drops too fast

I had a problem with the loader on my NH tractor dropping too fast. The rise was at the appropriate speed but a little weak at times, The pump was the problem. When I replaced the pump everything worked fine. Wish I had replace it sooner.

Rotary Cutter Brush cutting for beginners...

I have used a RC on a 1/2 acre lot and had a finished cut that looked as good as or better than when I have used a ZTR. The RC had new blades. It did not leave the cutting piled up on the right like a side discharge mower does.

midmower frozen and also pto attachment s stuck on tractor

Pull the drive belt off. Turn each pulley individually. Make sure the bearing are smooth. If there is any roughness then you might want to replace that bearing. There should be a number on the bearing, with that number you can get a replacement bearing usually a lot cheaper than oem.

Rotary Cutter Brush cutting for beginners...

I think a RC is your best bet. Buy a good one with the hanging chains. I was cuttingunder a pecan tree and the RC sent a pecan forward which hit the front tire and then hit me in the forehead. Knocked my hat off, and almost knocked me out and off the running tractor. I shut it down and took...

midmower frozen and also pto attachment s stuck on tractor

First you need to determine why? Is the shaft frozen to the other shaft or are the locking balls frozen? The lock rings holds the balls in the groove. I have had more problems with the balls and ring than with the shaft. Have you tried a good penetrant? For future reference I keep my ptos...

Looking at buying a tracked skid steer, and forrest mulcher. Looking for any and all advice in buying operating. Used a Kubota 95hp with drum mulcher. Looked at JD. Liked the way the controls were arranged. Did not like that it was all computer controlled. Lot of cost here do not want to...

Help in deciding on a skid steer.

I was using a Kabota CVL 95 w/forest mulcher. I looked at a JD 333. I liked it better. And it was less expensive. I have not yet looked at others. Not sure I want to spend that much money. What advice can you all give me on what to get and what to avoid?

    neighbors

I was reading here on TBN of headlines related to domestic issues. I wanted to give my two cent in but realized I would be highjacking the thread. So I am starting this one. I have a property on a lake with the same neighbor for 27 years. In those years we have gotten along well. In those...

    Got stuck today

Shredding with my TN95A. Went though a low spot and my right rear tire just spun. Stepped on the differential lock and still did not pull out, I pushed the 4x4 button and my left front tire spun. I noticed I only had 2 tires spinning. One back and one front. I was able to get out of the...
