The question of a MID PTO and the Power Reverser transmission on these tractors comes up periodically since Deere doesn't let you configure one that way on Build Your Own.
It is definitely an option that you or the dealer can install. The kit from Deere is a little under $600 and is complete...
Does anyone here have a Dyna QPS? If so, how many hours have you had it? How do you use your tractor? and... how do you like the push button shifting?
I am considering the 1660 Cab Dyna QPS for general farm and hay baling rather than a larger tractor....
Thanks
Put a full adjustable Suspension seat on the tractor. It was a bit of work with some light welding. It makes a huge difference when mowing and I was able to work much faster. On the other hand, it raised the seat quite a bit. not a problem for me at 5'11" but shorter people might have a problem...
I spent 2 hours mowing with it immediately. I love it. It is an incredible mowing machine. Very agile despite being a bigger machine. I easily mowed around the well head with very little fuss. I needed the 4wd on the steep section in back, and also ended up caught on a drainage ditch...
I am used to pulling up to my own tank and filling up when I need to, but the tank is still in Tennessee.
Where can I get off road diesel to fill 5 gallon cans? Many of the gas stations in TN carry farm diesel in addition to on road diesel but haven't seen that around LA. Is everyone...
I have plenty of older and non deere implements including my very old Mott 72" Hammer Knife. It's been cold and rainy in Maine and I started have wanted to modify the Mott for the quick hitch but haven't had time to fix the top link attachment so it would fit.
Well, all this time, the grass...
I stopped by one dealer today and asked them for a quote on a 2720/ mower combination.
The list price they have on their quote sheet is $19,709 and they discount it to $17,139.
Build your own has the list price at $17,613... setup delivery and freight should be less than $700.
They quoted the...
I recently moved off my 100acre farm in TN and moved to an 8 acre rental property in Maine with 3 clear but taken up by house, horse barn, paddock. About 1 acre remains open. I am actively looking at farms to purchase here. Right now I have a 3320 Power reverser with a loader that i bought...
Stopped by my local dealer yesterday and they had a DK55 platform with loader for $24,600. I thought about it and called back this morning to say I would take it. Someone beat me to it this morning. Dealer called back later and told me Kioti had raised prices $1300 and now I would also have to...
Took a ride to the Deere Dealer today to drive a 4320 with cab. Glad I did.
I am impressed with the cab. Well finished, quiet, and quite a bit of room in it. The doors are BIG and open wide so getting in and out is easy. Actually, as easy as my TN75. Not quite as much room but plenty. Much...
In the last 24 hours I have been rethinking my search for a small ag tractor using a geared transmission and avoiding hydrostatic drive. I have two hydrostatic tractors, the Ck27 and my simplicity lawn tractor. I love using them around the barn and house and in fact would not want to mow the...
Since I am moving and may need to leave a utility tractor with the farm in Tennessee I am looking at changing my tractor mix. My New Holland is going to Maine with me. The TN tractor needs to be very loader capable as my wife buys organic feed by the pallet for a local cooperative of people. It...
I am thinking about getting a round baler. Currently I bale about 2000 squares a year and my neighbor bales the rest. Last year I sold about 2000 bales and kept 500 +/-. We still had hay we just bush hogged because we ran out of time.
I think a small round baler would be a good addition. For...
I thought that I would write a review on the CK27 for people who may be shopping to read.
Earlier this year I bought a CK27 HST with the new skid steer attach loader to use as a general utility tractor on the farm and around the house. I have two other tractors for bigger work including tillage...
