One of the 2 will be 12v to ground. The wires are acting like a switch. Connect them and the tractor tries to start. But why? why bypass the key?
The guy I bought it from only use it for the bucket on the FEL. Never used the 3pt. The PTO was still covered and factory greased..... so he...
I'm trying to find a good place to tap switched power from.
I pulled off the "dash" and noticed that there are 2 connectors that are not connected. (both have orange with silver bands wires)
Also I've always wondered what the 2 wires near ROPES left rear is for? (If I short them it starts the...
I think you are correct that they changed the emission system. I haven't stumbled upon any other tractors that performed regens every 4 hours.
The only good thing seems to be that our system is so basic that it's fool proof. Until that 1 fuel filter gets clogged 🤬
Tough to say. I've been running mine for much longer with the hopes it'll fix itself. I'm going to clean my burner injectors next and see if that helps. If you have a dealership nearby it might be worth it for them to have a look at it.
Under the seat, probably hidden behind that plate...
The 1739e (and 1734e) should enter regen every 4 hours. Regen should last about 30 mins.
There are many reasons that could make the regen last longer.
The top light tells you that the regen is occurring. This dumps a lot more diesel into the exhaust (via the burner's 2 injectors).
The bottom...
A few weeks ago I took apart the burner and the DPF filter.
My filter looked fine. I shot some compressed air through the 2 filters and they seemed to allow airflow rather well.
The burner had lots of junk in it.
The ports that the injectors attach to were a little clogged up.
I carefully...
ummm... nope. If you are refering to the picture, I was just showing the lights. When I use the PTO for the wood chipper it is around 2500.
I know the cause of the problem I had (gummed up inline fuel filter caused the burner fuel starvation causing overheating).... my question here is if I...
The 1739E seems to require rpms over 1800 to burn.
On a good working system, the regen runs every 4 hours or so, and only should take several (20?) minutes or so to regen.
However, mine was starved for diesel fuel to help cool the burner down during regen for a few hours as I used the PTO at...
Oh yea, that small in-line filter was gummed up good. A lot of posts talked about "beeping" and other lights. I don't seem to have any of those beeps or lights.
Good day,
TL;DR:
My regen light and the hot exhaust light are both on... but the regen doesn't seem to finish. Is my burner toast?
Recently I noticed my 1739E start to struggle climbing my driveway. I figured that the hydraulic oil must be do for a change and was the problem ( I was...
