How long you think it will be before I am forced to replace these turf tires + wheels on an old JD750? Badly cracked, but poly/rubber filled. They won't wear out in my lifetime - it will see very low hours, so would love to avoid the $$$$$$$.
What would you think would happen that will...
Well everything looked good, clean and not visibly worn in the valve, and I did remove those restrictors, and unfortunately not much change.
I did just realize that the JD 67 loader has a integral valve body in it which I thought I had read was a restrictor. Turns out it's a relief valve...
Oh wow - that is really good news that a replacement is that reasonably priced. I think this is about 5GPM, but the loader has restrictors built in. So that might just drop right in? Would a valve like that have internal restrictors? I don't see it referenced in the specs - is it something...
I'm trying to fix a slow JD 67 loader on a JD 750 tractor with a SCV off a ford or new holland ("diesel kiki" branded). I can't find any parts or service info for it, and am new to hydraulics, but generally mechanically competent. So just a couple questions
QUESTION: Are the external spool...
I have a backhoe on it and there is a valve that closes off the rockshaft piston, locking it in it's current position (I think that's what it's for). I'll see if I can free the rockshafts to test that though.
Yes it is. I got the manual and traced everything out. It has a diverter valve that gives priority to Power Steering - taking 1gpm off of a pump that's 5.7gpm total. Took that valve apart and it looks nice and shiny and moves smoothly.
I'm new to this with an old JD750. Trying to fix extremely slow actuators while the PS is working just fine. Pulled the diverter valve and it's clean and moves smoothly.
Have the JD manual and it's excellent explaining the circuits, but it's new to me so want to ask if it sounds like I'm on...
I have an old 1985 JD 750 4wd that's going to need rear wheels and tires at some point and they are awful pricey.
With JD's reputation for costly parts, I was wondering if other brands are cheaper or generic wheels are available? Thinking if you can get these custom spacers made to adapt to...
