support or stop for doors to rest against? If support you can use a spring loaded wheel which will run along with the doors on uneven ground. If its a stop you could termperaryily drive a pipe in the ground and put a slide rod on one door, similar to what you see on double gates e.

Built this Grapple for my tractor. Can do so much more than ever imagined. What do you think?
