My 1997 4630 (55 hp turbo diesel) has developed an issue. While pulling a 7 foot finishing mower (Woods PRD8400) it started having a hard time maintaining RPMs while climbing a hill. I fed it more throttle only to have it bog down to 1,000 RPM. Let up the throttle and back came the RPMs...
This is an '02 4210 with a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel. When I turn the key all I get is a single loud click (clack?). I replaced the battery and starter (no easy job) and the issue remains. The clicking (clacking?) sound appears to be coming from the other side of the engine than the starter...
New member here. Found this site while researching an issue on my John Deere tractor. Also have a '97 New Holland 4630 that runs great. Good to be here and I hope to learn a lot off you guys.
