Thanks for the feedback. I've read several threads about converting to an alternator, was really curious if there was a way to test the generator to see if it really is bad before going through all of the other steps.
I have a John Deere 2010 that just recently started to have the generator light stay on constantly. As soon as you apply RMP's it wants to stall out. It recently had a tune-up done and everything else seems clean. My head goes to the generator going bad, but have no idea how to test or check...
