If you ran until it stalled you may have toasted your fuel pump. Common rails don't do well with gas.

These MCRD engines run a Bosch common rail system. Just like the Jetta TDI, ford power stroke and Chevy Duramax. Thanks for the tips. I noticed the other day when it was about 10°f the tractor fired up perfect but it was bogging down and stalling quite a bit. Definitely got better and better as it warmed up and after about an hour of use light use the problem was gone. I checked the oil cap and it looked...

Gotcha, I'll take a look and clean the area and see if it's leaking still. Would the fix be to tighten them most likely? Also what is the deal with the oil filler on the fuel pump itself. There's one on the valve cover for the engine?

I never touched the lines at the pump that must have been a previous owner or something. All I bled wat the filter cartridge with the selector switch.

Thanks for the responses. So it's running 15w40, and yes it's not in a temperature controlled barn. It fires right up it just has random times where it bogs down really bad. What do you want a pic of? I don't think there's Water in the fuel, and it's used about every day or 2 sot it's not...
