Well I only read the first 10 pages of this thread. Bought my first No Spill Gas Can about 10 years ago but after owning the first one I’m not interested in any other brand, I now own 6 No Spill cans.

Anyone have opinions on the Bad Boy ZTs

Driving around the country Bad Boy equipment does seem to be pretty popular and I always liked the stuff when just looking at it, never operated any Bad Boy equipment but after reading this thread I would be very careful about buy anything from Bad Boy.

HST or 12 speed SHUTTLE SHIFT

For running your Bush Hog for 100 hours per year and being 72 years old you will never wear out a good HST. My newest tractor is HST and I love it. I’m sure some of the other choices are also very nice and you probably wouldn’t be able to wear those out either.

1984 Ford 445 Industrial won't go in REVERSE

I am very surprised there were no replies to your question. I have never operated a tractor with that type of shifting mechanism, I believe they may have quit building them because of problems similar to yours.

Walmart batteries are excellent ! I had one that lasted 18 years in my 8N ford tractor, obviously I replaced it with another Walmart battery about 6 years ago.

    HST or gear-drive?

I own both HST and gear driven, prefer HST most of the time. But if your wanting to pull a lot of heavy loads a long ways at road speeds gear driven might be a better choice.

Given the current prices in 2025, what are your thoughts on PT422 over PT425?

Power Trac is a very interesting machine but seems like almost everyday I’m reading about one that’s broke down somewhere and no parts available

    Attaching pto implements

I have also tried both high speed and low speed for starting the blades on my Kubota ZD21 , high speed definitely seems to work better, the manual suggests it has a automatic feathering device built in.
