Ok, so I was wrong again. The DS in front axle is knurled and pressed in the yellow cap. Tranny DS is threaded. 4mm x .07 if anybody wants to know. So I made my own. Super easy out of a welding electrode. Took the coating of course off, polished it and made threds. Filed flat end and crossed...

Thanks guys, yeah it pretty weird and the only letter is the J which should be regular tiller. So that makes me think, was this home made ? It does not look like. I agree that this is good only for grass and and maybe dog wood.

I picked up 85 Yanmar 226D few months back with 2 attachments. Can Anybody tell me what the heck is this attachment used for ? I can't find another like this. Thanks

Hey guys, After living on a 5 acre property I was finally allowed to buy a small tractor :cool2:. Looking to pick up an 1985 Yanmar YM226D with few attachments end of next week. 9 hour drive each way but hey - the toy is hopefully worth it :laughing:
