Rusted nut wont budge - 48" rotary mower blade

Bought a 48" Gearmore rotary mower for peanuts and I quickly learned why. One of the blades is loose yet the nut is completely rusted solid. Ive been spraying this thing off and on with PB Blaster for over a year now. I finally gave it another good go today and snapped my breaker bar! (Had a...

Box Scraper  Servis LT66 flip up scarifiers

Hi all, I'm a total newb and using my box scraper for the first time. It has flip up scarifiers but I can't figure out how to get them up out of the way for the blade only. There are two pawls for it to rest on and both extend down. Any advise? I'm also missing one scarifier. Think I can find...

Tiller  Newb question: Can I get by with just a rototiller?

I'm already imagining that the answer is no but figured I'd ask anyway. Tractor I bought came with a 5ft tiller (also a disc but its not in functional condition). 3pt doesn't stay raised after engine is shut off

This problem just developed on my 1984 Ford 1910 1665 hours. Hydraulics for the FEL and the 3pt work great with the engine running but shutting it off causes the 3pt to lower to the ground. Any leads on what to check first? Thanks

Newb here with a vintage Towner disc harrow

I have zero tractor experience and just bought one (Ford 1910). It came with this Towner offset disc harrow. Has square bolts so its definitely got some age to it First problem is, how does this thing go back together? It was taken apart for transit but my memory is failing me about how it...

Just got my first tractor: 1984 Ford 1910 - some noob questions

Hi all Just picked up my first tractor ever, a 1984 Ford 1910 with 1600hours. Few questions: It has some trouble starting. I let the glow plugs go for about 15sec and then crank it (been warm outside 50-70F). It sputters and smokes and wont start usually. Let it rest 10 sec and the second time...

Buying Advice  Hesitant start normal for diesel? (real newbie here)

I am shopping for my first tractor (on a budget). I know little to nothing about tractors. That said, I checked out a Ford 1910 (1984 with 700hrs). Seemed ok but was hesitant to start. Cranked and smoked for a bit, then rested, then cranked again and started. Once running sounded fine and no...
