    Good morning!!!!

Trex is just finishing up the first 2 buildings of four in their plant next to my shop. Huge massive 500 acre complex. Their main building makes my shop (old large trucking depot) look like a little kids play house [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23] I wonder...

Do smart electric meters alert the power company when it's removed?

I had my water bill quadruple one month. This was way before smart meters. I called the water company and asked about it. She got pretty defensive over the meter reader. But I was trying to convey that someone transposed a number because what they had listed for the reading was way over...

Ever had one of "those" days?

If something i'm working on goes together way too smoothly, I know I should stop and call it a day. If I keep going, that gremlin is fixing to show up and make my day absolutely miserable. [emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23]

Do smart electric meters alert the power company when it's removed?

Coworker had a compressor on his ac unit that malfunctioned and stayed on continuously. His electric bill jumped pretty drastically.

    Good morning!!!!

There are scam calls going around for "income tax relief". I get a call each day from them, different number, different state each time.

    Good morning!!!!

Years ago i got called out to a drilling rig for a service call on a 3" diesel powered trash pump. Employee neglected to roll the engine over to the compression stroke and hit the compression release. So they broke the pull cord. In the employees infinite wisdom, they then removed the pull...

You got lucky... we were told it didn't leave the yard for less than $900. . He tried the smaller truck first, but it didn't have the Butt to get the forklift out. So he ran back to the shop for Matilda [emoji2369][emoji2369][emoji2369][emoji33][emoji33]

    Good morning!!!!

I was gonna drop my air compressor down to 10 or 20 psi and try that like they do in the pet stores. I can't keep the shepherd anywhere near anything that sounds like a vacuum or similar. I got a 50ft hose for my compressor, so I can plug it in, in the shed and reach out where we are washing...

Ever had one of "those" days?

Thats a pretty large wrecker. What were you driving??? We buried a forklift once and had to have a semi tow truck come over to winch it out. Dude was literally a block down the road. $900 [emoji2369][emoji2369][emoji2369]

Do smart electric meters alert the power company when it's removed?

That was my thought on them as well. I had just spent almost $2k getting the unit fixed. A pressure valve went bad inside the house, and the unit was short cycling and burned up the fan motor. The last thing I wanted was for them to jack something up with the unit and it cost me more money...

Do smart electric meters alert the power company when it's removed?

Locally, entergy wanted to put a device on my air conditioner to shut off the compressor during peak usage. I told them no and refused to sign for permission. I had an energy efficient model, high end windows, and added 10" of insulation in the attic. When it was 110° outside, my ac would...

bad oil pump on a 2025 Subaru

Seems like something would be screwy if the oil pump had zero pressure at idle. Granted, if it's not circulating oil, depending on what scored, would it have shavings in the oil pump?? [emoji848] [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848] Years ago, we had an engine shop rebuild a couple Mitsubishi...

    Good morning!!!!

I've been reminding my coworkers that if they have anything they need to do out in the yard at work, to do it first thing in the morning. We got 7 acres of asphalt around the building, so you don't want to be working out there in the afternoon. I had a coworker bring the 500 gallon bulk fuel...
