I have been examining my recently acquired TC33D for hyd. dipsticks, and have just found the one with Hyd oil located behind the seat on top of the axle. Is that reservoir feeding the hydraulics and the rear axle, and the hydro trans? I was expecting to find multiple dipsticks and fill holes...
Last week I rebuilt my 914A mower deck gearbox (72") because it had two bearings seized. I thoroughly cleaned and dried the remaining parts, and the two other bearings were in good shape as were the gears. Everything went together smoothly and Ifilled it to the fill hole with 90w140 gear oil...

I purchased a 350 hour TC33D with a NH MMM today. I took it out on some 3 foot hay and it cut fairly good for 200'. Then the engine began to lose speed, and three seconds later it stalled. Then efforts to engage the MMM resulted in stalling, at idle, in full...
