My opinion is - 7 hrs is new. I don’t understand why anybody would be upset. Clean it yourself and get going. It’s going into dirt so who cares.
This sounds like a whiney entitled rich person’s complaint. On our farm we had an oil dripping 10,000 late 1970s Case backhoe.
Please people...
I recently purchased an old 1941 Farmall A. The distributor is interfering with the hood.
What is the reason? I see some Farmall A tractors have more of a horizontal distributor.
I do not know enough to know what is happening.
I have often wondered if there was an aftermarket supplier for extra noise reduction. An original Mannheim muffler was a lot heavier than the aftermarket replica I have in there now. It was something like 10 lbs heavier.
Believe me, it’s no easy situation. She has TMJ which is in close proximity to the ear. She is very noise sensitive and even small noises like the drone of a furnace can cause tension. I did put a new aftermarket muffler on the 1030 and she still hears it very very easily.
I should have said - currently I have a 1030 John Deere and a John Deere 1020 loader tractor. I use the loader for a few tasks and the rotary cutter John Deere 609.
