When my tractor cools down it runs fine until hot again? plenty of power and gas ? help chris

I have a cub 5252 that has a crack at the engine by the gasket ( big crack ) will this throw off the compression in that cylinder? I runs very rough until it gets warmed up?? Advise is welcome!

I was told that castrol UTF was a good universal trans/hydrlc fluid for my cub 5252 I went to lowes and all they had was a pro select aw-32 hydrolic oil and dont want to mess up a, apparently problematic transmission. Please advise. thanks Chris

:confused:Hello, I have a lx176 with a ton of hours on it. I have kept up with the maintenace but did finally have a blown out tranny. It still runs like a gem other wise. Is it worth replacing the tranny?????? I have a quote for 7-800$ not sure if I can get it done cheaper or it is worth...

In the middle of snowthrowing my driveway for the 2nd time my cub suddenly stopped working. It turns over fine, the oil level is fine, seemingly plenty of juice. It is almost as if a kill switch is turned on that I dont have. I checked my seat but nothing seems in the way to keep it going...

Hello, new owner to a 5252 with a 812 front end loader. It is not level by about 1" to 1 1/2 ". I don't know how to level it using the hydrolics??? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
