72" snow blower and 35 hp?

Another data point: 30 PTO hp 74" Farm King (buehler) blower hydrostat Couldn't imagine trying to run this blower this year without a hydro. As others have posted, you need to creep into it or break it up first. I have broken a few auger shear pins by backing into hard snow too fast. Usually...

    4 or 5' box blade

XR3135 I use a 6' box blade but rarely use the teeth. I have had gravel overflowing the box but that can only happen in 4WD, low range, good traction but will eventually stall me. Overall, pretty impressed with the ability to pull this. Have loaded tires also. You are correct, it will not...

Error Code F11 on XR4150 Shutle?

Ok that helps. "81" is the Suspect Parameter Number (see my previous post with pictures of descriptions). I circled it here: Since it was blinking, it must be one of these diagnostic trouble codes associated with "81" DTC P1432 (slow blink, every second) DTC P242F (slow blink...

Error Code F11 on XR4150 Shutle?

I've had 3 regens in 27 hours. I firmly believe the 50 hr regen only applies to running full out, heavy load, 105F weather, 100% of the time! I don't understand how to correlate what is displayed ("F11") to the service manual. Was there any other number displayed? Here is a sample of...

    XR4150H Failure codef04

or was the F04 displayed also? i.e. F04 1076 that may relate to P0004?

    XR4150H Failure codef04

Good question. From what I can get out of the SM it says it will blink on the LCD display, "1076" every 1/2 second. These are "suspect parameter codes" (SPC) and each one of these may have multiple "diagnostic trouble codes" (DTC) related to them. Need a communications module connected to...

Regen concern on new LS engine

So, my 3135 went into regen for the first time this week...at 15 hours (?!). Seems a far cry from the 50 or so advertised, but it could have been how it was operated initially. I started the engine and let it warm at fairly low idle, maybe 1000 rpm and was doing something else. All of a...

Pumped washer fluid in 43x16-20 tires

I added 36 gallons of washer fluid to each tire, ~300 lbs each. Probably could have added a few more as it was not up to the valve stem yet when positioned at the top. Got the -20F fluid on a spring sale for a bit more than a $1/gal. The kid at Menard's was wondering what the heck I was going...

question regarding loader control valve on my g3033

I too modified the bucket circuit with the flow control valve modification. However, I mounted it on the loader arm so it is more accessible when switching from the light bucket to heavy grapple. You will end up with a slightly slower bucket dump to control the flop. Here are the pix...

    Lets see your Woodworking Skills

I've done decent furniture stuff, but I find working with reclaimed wood (i.e. dirty, full of nails, cupped, rotton, etc.) is much harder to deal with. Here are a couple of pieces using wood from a pig barn that collapsed on my property Tilt out garbage can holder: Coffee table...

Ken's Hooks - LS Bucket Installation

Discussed before, but I'd thought I'd add my thoughts and pictures on the installation: The LS bucket has a rectangular tube on the top edge that is wrapped by the sheet steel bucket material. It goes over the top, down the front and terminates just in from the edge of the tube. It is welded...

    Inquiring mind wants to know

Such good info on this site! Here are a couple more pics of the Tomahawk: I don't think I could break it with the tractor but a larger skidsteer might. Again, perfect for what I need and it will be very useful for me.

... and here is the rest of it. Pretty impressed thus far, these new LS engines are smooth and quiet. Hopefully no first year gremlins highlight design flaws.

    Inquiring mind wants to know

Maybe an OCD thing for me but what are the unused switch plates for? I know the blank on the tilt column, far right, is the auto/man PTO on gear models. I believe upper right on dash is regen on some. The other two? 3135H
