It was in early stages a battle to change these filters and loosing diesel fuel. Now thanks to earlier posts I put together a reasonable understanding. I even cut up a milk jug to fit over the starter motor with zip ties as the previous crashed I think due to drainage from the filter above! But...
2000 John Deere 5105 with bucket rear blade and a 5ft bush hog. 2000 hours nice condition for its age no dents etc, now sitting idly by. With the loss of her husband she would like to sell the tractor. Any help on a rough estimate of its worth would be most welcome?

I have a 1533 regular shift and had terrible battery corrosion problems starting was a nightmare then I discovered on Amazon new battery terminals made of aluminium. They have worked out better than first thought. Picture and product below.

Thanks the connector post on the positive side has completely rusted away. So I’m trying in my naive way to find a connector that accepts all the positive wiring there’s 6-7 that needs to be on the clamp! Excuse the poor description. I sent a pic to the other very helpful member.

Besides another great thanks another problem arose this afternoon. The positive terminal connection has now completely rusted through. I’ve checked all the internet culprits but having a problem marching the original post setup. Any help would of course be greatly appreciated!
