Could you be getting air into the fuel lines? I know when I change fuel filters on my T4 it will be hard starting (extended crank time) until the last of the air gets out of the system. But if you have a loose clamp/bleeder screw it could be letting a small amount of air into the system?

As you stated both the T4 and T5 are rated the same as they have the same engines, so they are both should be capable of the same duties, I believe the T5 weighs slightly more than the T4. I have used mine for cutting, tedding, raking, baling, manure hauling, snow blowing, discing...
