This may seem like a silly question, but here goes: On my L3130 HST, should I be pushing in the clutch pedal before engaging the PTO? My manual refers to the PTO lever as a PTO clutch but does not mention using the clutch peddle in concert with it. Excuse my inexperience.

After much research (mostly on this site), I chose the L3130 over the B7800. Dealer just delivered it today and I'm absolutely thrilled! My thanks to all of you who responded to my posts and others whose insite and experience helped me make what I think is a very sound decision.

Can anyone explain why there seems to be so much concern about the power to weight ratio (32.1 hp / 3305 lbs.) with the L3130? The Kioti CK30 has a nearly identical ratio (30 hp / 3055 lbs.) and people seem to rave about its power. I'm getting ready to buy a new 3130 but this is a bit confusing.

72\" MMM for L3430HST It seems to me that I've read somewhere in this forum that the 72"MMM for the Kubota L3430HST is not compatible with R4 industrial tires. Apparently, they rub against the deck while turning. Does anyone know this to be true? I'd appreciate any deails on the subject. Thanks.
