After changing my starter solenoid and ignition switch trying to figure out why I couldn't start my tractor ( Mahindra 485DI). I finally found the culprit. A wire was broken internally. It was the wire from the solenoid to the switch. I put in a new wire and it fired right up. Maybe this help...

My 5ft cutter deck has a few holes in it and I am thinking about re-skinning the damaged areas with 1/8 steel plate. The question is....do I weld the new sheet over the top of damaged areas or not??? Is there any issue with layering the sheets in this manner??? Thanks in advance.
