So as you know my dealer changed my 3 injectors last fall. Last week was my annual bush hogging of my fields (first time since the issue) about 5-6 hours straight of pto speed throttle.

I don't know if these injectors are from a common source for multiple brands of tractors. Maybe it's just mental, but having a black cloud in my mind of a possible 8k repair in 4-5 years bugs me a bit.

So my tractor is back from the dealer. Basically what they did is put the tractor on the dyno and observed a drop in engine power after the tractor reached higher temperature. PTO hp dropped from 30 to 20 hp.
They first changed both fuel filters put it on the dyno again, same results. Test...

I road the tractor to my dealership 15 miles from home. They put it on the dyno and were able to recreate the problem. They came with the conclusion of bad injectors. New ones are ordered...
Glad or not so glad I found that thread. I have a 2019 Massey 1740M with 860 hrs on it. So far I was satisfied with it, never had problems. Bushoging, discing, box blade, logging, snowblowing and lot of loader work it have been a great workhorse for me on my 35 acres.

I thought the No DPF thing was only on the 1700 series (Shibaura engine) before it was replace by the new 1800 series (Iseki engine).
I run a 5 foot bush hog on my 1740m and it never really bug down so probably a 6 footer will work just fine.
I'm at 630 hrs on the machine and it stills runs...

I know exactly what part of the manual you are talking about, its pretty confusing. I asked the dealer when I did my first fluid change and they told me I have only 2 filters to change. The vertical " Spin-on"...

I have a Massey 1740M with the Shibaura getting close to 600 hrs, they changed for the Iseki when 1700 series became the 1800 series.
They both seems to be good engines.
Cheap and fast. I'm a construction surveyor too working with machine control everyday and sometimes the good old methods are faster and hassles free.

So I removed the gearbox this morning. Theres no slop at all at the gearbox mount. Actually I had to hammer it with a wood block to get it out of there.
