Would any one know if it would be alright to put Synthetic Hyd fluid in a 1973 4500 Ford Shuttle Shift Transmission. It was rebuilt, or will I stick to the original Hydraulic fluid. Just wondering because of all the new fluids out there... Tks :thumbsup:

Just finished replacing all the bearings and cups in the transmission, also replaced second gear. I reinstalled the shafts and torque to spec, then spun the shaft with no load and it is sticking after one complete revolution, you need to give it a quick snap to free it up. I removed all shafts...
