I cleaned off that part, looks to be just a dimple. I’m pretty sure the rod guide just screws off with a spanner wrench and that dimple is a guide. I’ll find out in a few days when the weather gets a little warmer.

I think the spot marked is a lock but not sure how remove it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on this site. The old 410 has served me well but one of the tilt cylinders on the loader is now leaking. I rebuilt them many years ago but I’ll be darned if I remember how to take it apart. I know the bucket end unscrews but I think there’s a lock pin...
