As title says, i need to replace the seat and suspension. Its ‘bout worn out, plus I’m older and fatter and I’d like a softer, non-bottoming ride.

In the end i had a local shop, not Deere, do this work. I finally decided, and still believe, it was beyond my experience and equipment capacities. Ended up costing about $700 iirc, and worth it. Repair has held up well over the years...

I have an old, 15 years or so, oxygen/acetylene set in my shop over the years. jThe tanks look good, and as far as I can tell both tanks are still nearly full.
