I have a used RS1200 tiller bought straight from an importer of Japanese tractors and implements. Before I put it to work I intend to drain the oil, fill it with diesel fuel and run it without load for about 10 minutes to flush it, then put new oil in. Does anyone know what weight of oil to use...

Does anybody know if there is a North American equivalent for the thermostat used in a Yanmar F17D? Maybe a NAPA parts number or something? I suspect mine is either stuck open or missing as the gauge does not rise ( it works) and the water from the thermostat cover to the radiator gets hot...
