Makes sense. I wasn't saying Kubotas are immune to the laws of nature; just that the ones around me live really tough lives outdoors and I haven't heard tractor owners I've talked to experience this before.

Thanks. My tractor is in the shop - they said it's an internal issue and unfortunately no longer under warranty.

There are dozens of Kubotas in my town that spend their lives outside; have never heard of this issue from neighbors or local farmers.

I just came across this article while trying to do the same thing on my RCR 1860. I figured out how to remove the PTO shield, but even with that off, the angle of the grease fitting makes it impossible to get a regular grease gun on there. Do I need a right angle for the grease gun? Any tips...

I have a 3560LE on order and would like to add the lighter that is missing (from what I understand the wiring harness is there). Has anyone done this? I looked at the Messicks online parts diagram for the regular 3560 and it shows the lighter but no part number for it. Thanks
