    L2501 vs LX2610

Well I bought an L2501. And it didn't come with a copy of the National Enquirer so I can't read the minds of the Kubota engineers (well probably the bean counters making the real decisions). Real happy with the purchase so far, glad I went for the larger tractor. Thanks for all the help!

    L2501 vs LX2610

Apparently Kubota tractors are now more rare than diamonds, and my local dealer has 4 tractors on the lot (where they normally must have 100). I was able to test out an LX3310 and an LX2610 SU. I have seat time behind an L4060 as well. They both seemed ok, but I think I want a little more...

Final thoughts before purchase in the 3500lb+ cab range?

So the Boomer 40 was sold and I went back to try the Boomer 45 one more time and they are very helpful and let me play around with a pile of dirt/clay. I am glad I did because I am not sure I feel comfortable with the loader that far out. It was extremely tippy and I hated the feeling...

Final thoughts before purchase in the 3500lb+ cab range?

So are the small front tires (T Rex) actually a problem or they just sort of look disproportionate? While clearance is better on a larger machine, I do like the feel of the lower center of gravity on the smaller size. And I don't think I will use $8k worth of a backhoe. I would probably spend...

Final thoughts before purchase in the 3500lb+ cab range?

I am pretty set on new since the used market is crazy right now. I am not going to pay 80-90% of new for a tractor for one with 500+ hours. For instance: https://maine.craigslist.org/grq/d/oakland-2015-kubota-hst-l3560-tractor/7314839705.html

Fried, you aren't supposed to tell me you use the BH a lot! Now comes the second guessing!!! Love the look of the Yanmar but the closest dealer was many hours away, a $50k price tag and a couple month delivery.

Final thoughts before purchase in the 3500lb+ cab range?

So my tractor journey started here looking at something like a 1025r for basic yard maintenance, moving brush piles, dirt etc. As I looked into tractors, I started thinking about being able to clear some land, grade it, remove stumps, do snow removal etc. I was lucky enough to borrow a Kubota...

Tough decisions in the compact utility size

So I have decided that the SCUT sized tractors will be too small for my use, and are really pretty expensive for what you get. A few grand more gets you a lot more tractor. I have the following quotes for TLB (all hydro). Kubota L2501: $32k Deere 3025e: $29k LS MT225e: $24k Kioti CK2610: $27k...

    1025r Price check

Looking at a 1025r with TLB and MMM and getting quotes of about $22k. Does this seem like a decent deal? I am likely going to want to add a brush hog and grapple. This would be for mowing (not a ton of area, just a long way to travel), moving a lot of yard debris around, helping with clearing...

Buying Advice  Are TYM tractors junk?

It is tough to find a lot of information on these tractors, which may be the first sign to stay away. But the T394 with a cab can be had for such a great price that it is hard for me to stop looking at it. Comparable tractors from Kubota and JD are around $10k more near me. I have done a lot...
