    B2601 seat switch ..help!

Williy, That's about the exact same scenario as the land at my place and I do the same! Seatbelts, PTO shields, and all else are there for a reason - I just don't need to utilize them - all of the time. If and when needed I will/do use them but most often not.

    Rams and the generations?

Thanks Squirrel, That answers my base question quite well! Everybody's pointed out a maze of info to burrow through - thanks to all - I'll "eventually" wallow around in it. I just wanted some basic clues and I just got them. Appreciate the replies. Greg

    Rams and the generations?

Hi All, I'm not quite sure where to post this question so I'll try here. My simple question is "How are the various generations of Dodges or Rams determined?" I've got two, a '96 3500 and an '99 1500, and I'd like to figure out what generation they belong to and exactly how that's...

    Jogn Deere Stabilizer/sway bar question.

Tx Jim, I didn't see what you meant - the first time you said it - I sure do see what you meant now though! You are correct for sure, that bracket being 180 out will cause exactly the problem the OP is having. Thanks for reshowing these pics, cleared up any confusion I had!

    Threaded dipstick

Which is???? My craftsman log splitter hydraulic tank has a threaded checker rod (Instruction manual does not give clarification) and I've always checked it by threading in first then reading. Haven't destroyed anything if 20 years; so whatever works for you.

Dodge man, Where did you find those old fashioned spouts? I see the box of 4 -5 right there, I could sure use some of those but can't seem to find them anywhere. Course, then my caps probably wouldn't fit them anyhow, but I'd still try some if I could find them. About all I have available...

Tractors and wood! Show your pics

All this chatter about measurements, I had to go check also, Yeah I get 16" to the knuckle and that makes 18" to the tip of the pinkie. But, man that just takes up far to much time to spread my arm out and then cut. I just eyeball it and close enough works. I'll leave all this "precision"...

    Using lifting tongs on bucket

Okay, if you mentioned 100 acres before I must have missed it. You've got plenty of area to draw from! I do recall that you gathered a lot from the hurricanes and diseased trees so I realize you're "not" shortening the lifespan of the growing stock. That's good and will keep you in firewood...

    Using lifting tongs on bucket

WinterDeere, That's all just fine as long as you have enough land and growth stock to ensure it keeps returning the base you're drawing from! And it sure seems as if you draw many, many cords each and every year. Good deal as long as the main supply stock keeps producing your required base...

    Battery Info

"Haydude, That's "unfortunately" for you the lifespan I have recently gotten from my last 3 "8 volt" batteries from Napa. These are used in my golf cart and the previous 5 I've gotten have/are still lasting/staying strong. I don't have any idea what changed or when, but I've since changed to...

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Looks good and got the job done well, working on the cheaper end of the scale at that! I love working with almost all of my HF tools. I'm just a homeowner not a contractor and they work well for me!

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Thanks for the clarification California! Now I know where to place my tee in the system! I never even gave a thought to "overloading" the older tank; I just wanted to know where "exactly" you placed your tee. But, since you mentioned it, I suppose one could possibly overload a tank. I won't...
