I just did 6" here in upstate NY. I added some ballast on the rear and the turf tires did great. Even uphill. Might not need chains afterall.

I have an BX1870 with 80 hours on it since April. Love it! Gearing up for snowplowing. I got a hitch cargo carrier and I was thinking of adding driveway salt & sand for weight. I have a inclined driveway so I probably need chains. Any suggestions on where I should get tire chains?

That's a nice custom job! I just put the Piranha tooth bar on my bx1870. a fellow BX owner told me it looks like it should be in a slasher movie. For Plowing snow, it is not.

Kubota guy say no worries but all I read online is tractors flipping. Any advice on how to approach this hill?
