Hello, The white stuff will be here soon. I recently purchased a block heater for a CaseIH DX25E, and have no idea where to start. The block heater looks fairly simple. But where is the block , where does this thing go? Sorry I am new to the compact tractor world. Any advice will help.

I recently bought a 2005 CASE IH DX25E and have put 5 hrs on it (586hrs total). I was mowing grass for the first time with it and all of a sudden it started to surge. The RPMS would drop to 1000 then back up to 2500 for mowing. Any ideas where I should start.
