3-Point Hitch  3-pt lift arms don't go all the way down

Greetings, The 3-pt lift arms on my 5030C only move from the top to about 1/4 of the way down. I can't get them to go any lower which makes it tough to change implements. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had/solved this problem? Thank you for your time, HCF

    LS5030C Brush hog safety screen

Greetings, Around here the soil is rocky enough that many people make a safety screen of expanded metal behind the cab to catch debris launched by their brush hog. Am wondering if anyone has made one for a 5030C or other LS cab tractor. Would like to learn from your experience before building...

Spreading tires further apart for more stability

Greetings, Due to hilly land I'm considering moving the wheels/tires further apart for more stability on a LS5030C. Owner's manual says center to center distance between back tires can be changed from the default of 56.14" to 65.59" in four steps. The front tires may also be spread out. Has...

Sickle Bar  Sickle bars - New Holland 450 vs Massey Ferguson 238

Have a chance to buy either of the above. The NH450 being a bit more expensive, but not much. The Massey Ferguson is three-point mount, belt driven, cast head, so that makes me think it a 238. They look about the same to my untrained eye. Is one greatly preferable to the other? Are spare...

    Scraper on disc harrows?

Having a scraper on each disc looks like a good idea, but a lot of discs don't have them. How important are scrapers? Does their usefulness outweigh have all the extra parts to keep aligned? Thank you for your advice.

Three point hitch on LS5030 - top link questions.

Hi All, Was out measuring pins, lengths, etc on the 3ph to double check things before ordering a top & tilt. The LS5030 is advertised as having a cat 2 3ph, and the lower pins and hitch spacing are consistent with cat 2 specs. On the other hand, the pins in the top link are only 3/4" (Cat 1)...

Post Driver with Top & Tilt

Hi All, Will be getting a Shaver HD-8 post driver and am wondering if I could use Fit Rite Hydraulics Top & Tilt system (or equivalent) to level the post driver. Have seen rave reviews about using the Top & Tilt for moving/shaping dirt, but haven't found any mention of using it with a post...

LS turning radius, differential lock, and recent prices

Greetings, Am considering buying an LS 4047 or LS 5030. None of the literature or websites list a turning radius (with or without brake) and none indicate whether they have differential lock. Is that information online somewhere and I just missed it? Does anyone have recent prices for these...
