Looking at a new slv75-2 track loader. Dealer price is higher than I expected based on reading this site/kubota. Dealer claims shipping not included in Kubota web site price,current rebate is 2700. what should I be able to buy one for?
Where would a good place to attach the plus side of a low current battery charger to keep the battery charged over the winter? LS has a plastic cover over the + terminal which complicates directly attaching to the + side of the battery(LS4040h). Ground is easy.
Using a skid steer pallet fork (no bucket) and wood pallet I was only able to lift ~31 bags of pool salt (40 lbs each) ~6 inches off the ground. Loader pressures etc. have been checked by dealer. Looks like ~1500 lbs (salt + pallet forks) is what the LS xr4040h will do in a real world test...
After about two hours moving dirt, had two loader hoses damaged. rubbed thru both the protective cover and the hoses on the loader nut. Would be an easy fix but can't untighten the hoses even with two wrenches. any suggestions? Do I need to remove the loader to fix? Owned a kubota for 12 years...
1. seat - can't get it to not bottom out (my weight 250lbs). I do have back issues and can't get the adjustment wheel tight enough to not bottom out. any suggestions? new seat, shock pad underseat?

is there any real difference between these two other then 6 hp? Is it a real six hp difference or just different labels? Can the 4040 be upgraded in the future? since it's the same engine, weight etc. I also noticed these have the fuel tank down low instead of behind the seat, good or bad...
