on a 8N tractor, just aquired, there is a lever, just behind the Hydraulic control lever, also a slotted (Filler ) just to the right of the lever, these are unknown to me, can you identify and explain the use ?

When attaching the impliment power shaft (Mower, etc)to the pto, there seems to be a pin that moves in and out, can you explain the operation of this ? Also is there a small entrance hole on the pto shaft that must be alligned ?
