I got it to feed a 5" piece of oak, but about half way through it stalled the tractor. That took a bit of work before I could engage the PTO again to back it out.
Went for a day hike yesterday to Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls. Some people like to talk bad about California but it sure is nice having Yosemite in my backyard.
Had the opportunity to use the chipper over the last couple of days. I took the advice from another post and loosened the springs on the feed roller. What a difference on feeding larger branches. Those things are way too tight as delivered from the factory.
We are in the same boat. We have a 40" dual fuel range that is starting to flake out. Virtually impossible to find a replacement in that size. The control panel is no longer available so I will either have to find someone to do a custom refirb of the electronics or start thinking about a kitchen...
One other point. My latest implement came with a PTO shaft that has a safety cable running through the middle to prevent the two half's from coming apart. If your shaft doesn't come apart because of this nanny cable, you need to punch out a drift pin from one of the outer shaft ends to release...
My gripe with new car lighting is that the dash lights are always on. This results in countless idiots driving around at night with their headlights off.
