    Hay burner fuel

OK... Neighbor want's to re-seed a horse pasture. I have the means to do such. NORMALLY when I do a pasture seeding, I ask the owners to furnish their own seed, or to at minimum, spec what they want. (Liability issue....) No such luck with Tom.... He's kinda "not real up on the subject". Now...

    Tiller  KK tiller torture test.

Had to share this with everyone. (And yes, I SHOULD have taken pictures.) We were finishing up a new lawn install this afternoon. One area was to be tilled a few inches deep to "mix" the soil. We were down to that point, then seed and straw the area, and go home! I arrive on the jobsite just...

Can we have some peace and quiet...

ENOUGH! My head hurts! The very place I go to get away from petty politics, inuendo, insults, and hostility, has become the wiegh station for such.... It seems that a few people want to discuss "what's wrong with TBN"...... Well, currently, it's the discussion on what's wrong with TBN.... GIVE...

Thoughts on a Woods back hoe...

Yesterday I was approached about mowing 59 acres near the house. It belongs to an estate at the moment. The owner passed away about 6 months back. He had his own tractors and equipment. His son carted all of that off when he found out his sister was executor of the estate. She is trying to get...

    Where's my grass skirt?????

Where\'s my grass skirt????? Here's a couple pictures of a Tiki Bar I just completed building at work. There's over 1000lbs worth of treated lumber in that baby! It's on casters, but takes 3 grown men and a horse to move it. It breaks into 3 sections for easy storage. Now how's about that...

    WHAT?

I'm quite sure I've read this on here before, but let's re-hash old territory, and maybe open up a few NEW thoughts... Who uses, and WHAT do you use for hearing protection while running your tractor? I spent 8 hours bush hogging yesterday afternoon/last night. In the past, I tried to "tough...

Come on clock!!!!!!!!!! Get a move on it! I leave work in 1 hour. Then it's BIG fun! A good friend of mine always puts out a big garden. I usually plow it for him. This year I didn't hear from him. I ALMOST called yesterday to see if everything is OK. Turns out it's MORE than OK. He...

    Jack of all trades....

I was just discussing (with an employee of mine) all the "jobs" we've had over the years. Some were intersesting, some were enjoyable.... and some were not. What all have you done, and what was/is your favorite? I'll go first! 1. Farmer/son of farmer. Grew up on a dairy farm. (I HATE milk to...
