Bud, it looks like it had a drop of solder to start with. In my case it was intermittent because there was no significant gap burned away. It would connect and disconnect if rattled. Anyway, I think that got it.

The new 2008 233/273 FEL hoses look better, but the bottom twohoses are close to the head of the boom pivot bolt and rub. I added some plastic split wire conduit for protection. Before and after photos here.
