@WVH1977 I see you're in Richmond, check out the Yanmars at Amelia Equipment. I purchased mine there a few months ago and they've been great to deal with.
Thanks!
I do have a second tractor with a FEL, but its got a bucket and no SSQA. I guess if a wheel fell over I could stand it back up with the other tractor.
So when installing I just need to adjust the tractor to the wheel, not the wheel to the tractor.
I'd like to adjust my wheel width a little wider on my YT359 just for stability on my hilly property. I can figure out the wheel adjustment, but how do you folks mount/unmount a rear wheel filled with ballast? I've got a 2 post lift, just not sure how I'd get a 600+ lb tire back on the tractor.
I've got a 10k Bendpack 2 post that I've had for 4 years now, just had it moved to the new place. One thing I've used it for (and will again) that a 4 post won't do, is lift the body off a truck. I'm restoring a 73 Bronco and stripped it to frame. Body sat raised on the lift for months while...
Not really, but didn't spend a lot of time on it. Fortunately, mine is setup so that I can pull a pin and rotate the lockout plate out of the way to disable it when using the bucket.
I had 2 fall by mine a few weeks ago in a storm. Fortunately the larger on missed the shed and the other fell at the exact angle of the roof so landed flat and only did minor damage.
Will do!
I’ll be using Ubiquity point to point WiFi bridge to get the network to the shop. As far as cameras I currently use Nest at the house and will start there. If they don’t provide adequate image I’ll look elsewhere. My brother does security alarms, cameras, etc and can find me higher...
That's about right, but it should also be good enough to capture a license plate # if anyone pulls up to the shop. If they continue past the shop to the house, I have more and better cameras there that would help identify.
Once I get internet extended to the shop I'll put up a video camera...
I'm not going to cut down the tree to count the rings, so all I can do is use the info I find to come up with an ESTIMATE. I'll take a measurement and use the calculator I found for a start. Based on what I've read, I can also surmise that the oaks around these big ones are over 40 years old...
This is the tractor shed, it was on the property when we purchased a few months ago.
And this is the shop we just had built, it's 48x32 w/12'6" ceiling, blown in insulation in attic and 2" closed cell foam on walls.
Haven't finished getting the shop setup yet, still have to move most of my...
I'll take some measurements when I get back over there, but based on this I'll stick with my "200 years" estimate.
I estimate the diameter at 5+ feet, even if I'm off by a foot and the Diameter is only 4' that puts the circumference at 12' 6".
