I started working on cars in high school, went to work at a Chevy dealership after high school in 1971. I have been involved in something with engines since then. Also worked part time for a large family farm in Illinois from 1974 to 1984. That was my connection to John Deere. We now have 56 acres of timber, 15 acres of pasture, and about 10 food plots for deer and turkeys. We use our tractors for the property and to maintain our 3/4 mile long driveway. I enjoy working on the old tractors. They are tools, not show tractors.
