Last week I found the same thing to be wrong with my 4200’s 420 loader causing the loader to be sluggish. Removed small metal from the loader relief valve causing it to stick & it now operates like it should.

Thank you for this information! 3pt hitch wasn’t working at all on my new(to me) 4200 & found a small piece of metal in the rock shaft valve. Removed metal & reassembled & 3pt hitch works perfect.

My dad has got a MF135 from the early 70s with the Perkins Diesel. I ordered a tech manual this past week but it won't be here for several weeks & I was needing to know if this tractor has a hydraulic filter & if it does then how do you gain access to it? Thanks.
