Thanks everyone for your help. The tie rod end was slightly stripped. I took it off and brought it to the dealer. He was able to tap it and get the threads in an acceptable position again. I took it home, re-installed and was able to thread it back togther...making sure to snug the lock nut...

Thank you, appreciate it. My question is this- SOMETHING has to rotate to thread the two pieces together. Do i take off the piece that is currently on the wheel? There is a bolt with a piece of metal on it that i suspect is there so it doesn't unthread. otherwise, I have no idea how to...

New to the forum- New to tractors- Was mowing my lawn and this happened. Looks like the one piece threads into the other that is attached to the wheel. Do i remove and thread, then re-attach to tire?
