What bugs/diseases/critters have ya'll seen that weren't around 30-40 years ago?

We only have a hand full of cases of CWD here with the first case reported in 2024 and are in the northern part of the state. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epizootic_hemorrhagic_disease

My area is getting hit with EHD really bad. Read a guy post yesterday that he's finding around 5 dead deer a day around his property.

How thick are you cutting? 2-3" at most?

    Battery powered chainsaw

Yup, you have to be careful and pay attention for sure. If I am operating one handed, I'm pretty laser focused. Actually, when sawing, I am always laser focused. I have seen bad things happen before.

That's one of the things I love the most about my Echo 2511T is being able to use it with one hand.

    Natural gas?

Our home is on NG for furnace, water heater, fireplace, and the stove and oven. We really enjoy the NG which is pretty cheap to run. Doesn't hurt that my best friend is the local NG tech for the gas company either.

    Split rail fence install

I am planning to put an electric fence on it, just not sure if it will be on top or a foot or two out from the side.

Guess I'm a Sawyer now? A 1991 Kasco "The Saw IIA" Sawmill is mine!

Very cool! I hope to add one to my list of tools someday, too. Enjoy!

    Split rail fence install

I totally understand that and is exactly why I ended up having to build a fence as well.. The neighbors do not control their dogs. Now I am dealing with their pit bull jumping my 4' fence like it's not even there.

    Recommendation on sand blaster

What us professional power washers use for killing algae is sodium hypochlorite AKA Pool shock. You can mix a half a gallon in a 2 gallon pump sprayer and it will kill just about anything so don't get it on yo9ur plants. Or you can downstream it from your power washer in which I will do 2-3...

I have no doubt that EA makes fine grapples and other equipment as there are a ton of people who like their stuff. What they did to their customers leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. For that reason, I will never support their business. I won't judge anyone else who does as we all make our own...

    Tequila...Any Favorites to Recommend?

I read that same article and seen where is said alcohol is a group one carcinogen which also includes asbestos, arsenic, tobacco smoke, and several others. I had always heard alcohol was a carcinogen but didn't realize it was that high up on the scale. With that said, I love me some tequila...

    Split rail fence install

Looks great! I installed an underground dog fence around about 5 acres of my property to keep my two labs in and it worked out very well. About 6 months ago we decided to fence in the entire yard to keep the neighbors pitbull out and deactivated the underground dog fence. Our dogs will still not...
