Kubota Flat Hydraulic Connectors - HELP

Normally I would agree with you. But that doesn't seem to be the case for me. I'm careful to relieve all pressure before I disconnect and before I re-connect. It doesn't seem to matter. I know this because after disconnect anything, just for grins, I peridically re-connect them (tractor is...

Kubota Flat Hydraulic Connectors - HELP

Haha, well lemme tell ya....they DO. 😂😂🤷. Right now I'm covered in hydraulic fluid and I just spent about 30 minutes cracking fittings relieving pressure and then it snapped right together. I've never had this problem with the regular pioneer fitting so I'm tempted to just rip every single...

Kubota Flat Hydraulic Connectors - HELP

Hi, my Kubota M7060 has flat faced hydraulic connectors for the front loader hydraulic hookup. I have a lot of different implements, and EVERY time I go to change them out the hydraulics in the attachment are so pressurized I cannot connect the hoses. It does not matter how much I try and...

AGF 180 Ditch Bank Flail Mower - Bearing Failure

There really isn't much more I can show. Here's a shot of the entire unit, as well as an exploded view from the owners manual. Although I noticed right away that the reality of this axle doesn't quite align with what I see in the manual. At the very least there is +1 compression ring on my unit.

AGF 180 Ditch Bank Flail Mower - Bearing Failure

Folks, about a year ago I purchased an AGF 180 ditch flail mower that's provided outstanding services. The two hydraulic cylinders allow me to push back brush, cut offset, cut otherwise dangerous banks, etc. But sadly the machine suffered a serious bearing failure about a month ago and is now...

Why can't I find a part number for an oil filter???

I have a Kubota M7060 tractor and I'm deeply embarassed to say - that I have absolutely no idea what filters this tractor takes. Oil filter, hydraulic filter, etc. The manual gives instructions, diagrams, tells me the fluid types, etc. But absolutely nothing about what actual filters I need...

    Off-set Brush Cutting

I have a Kubota M7060 tractor with a 5' bushhog that I use for clearing brush. It works very well, but there are many areas of my property where I need something offset from the tractor that can clear the brush. Example, fence lines where there is a lot of overhanging brush. I also have...

John Deere 500c - Dashboard Guages

I picked up a John Deer 500c several months back. She runs great, starts right up every time, hydraulics are strong with no leaks (once I replaced a few hoses). BUT I do have one issue: The instrument panel on the machine is dead. Looks like someone shorted it out at some point and/or just...

    Matching Hydraulic Hoses

I've got an old John Deere 500C backhoe and I've removed 6 hydraulic hoses (with much effort). One had a pinhole leak and the others looked very rough. So I just pulled them off. The problem is that I have no idea how to match these hoses to new ones. I do not know their max operating...

JD 500C smoking / misting hydraulic leak?

Hi folks, very new and inexperienced back hoe owner here. I just bought a vintage JD 500C and I noticed some liquid dropping from the hoe joint (boom and stick?). Here's a video I shot. I'm thinking a leaky hose. You can see what almost looks like smoke and even a drip of fluid. Any ideas...

    Mid-80s John Deere 500C

I've always wanted a backhoe, mainly for pond maintenance, burying debris, digging stumps, repairing/replacing utility lines, and anything else that requires digging. A friend offered up what he thinks is a mid 80's 500C and I jumped at it. It's a fine running machine and he's giving it to me...

Seeders Driveway Maintenance - Box Scraper?

Thanks for all the advice folks. While I ordered a Land Pride 2572, I actually wound up with a 1572 because of multiple screw ups by the distributer. But I'm actually pleased because the 1572 fits my grandpa's old Deutz D4006, which has sadly been sitting unused for the last 1.5 years. After...

First Time Trailer Buyer - Leonard vs. Interstate (TrailersPlus)?

Hi Folks, I'm paying $150 each way to get my equipment to/from my local dealer. I understand the charge as it's around 2 hours round trip, but I'm getting sick of paying $600/year on top of my service costs. So I'm looking for a trailer capable of transporting my Kubota M7060 and other...
